Complete juice bottling plant machinery for natural real fruit juice, energy drinks, and flavored milk. High temperature resilience guaranteed.
Unlike mineral water, bottling fruit juices, energy drinks, or flavored milks introduces extreme biological risks. These sugary, nutrient-rich liquids are highly susceptible to fermentation and bacterial growth if not packaged under perfectly sterile conditions. BMR Machinery’s Hot Fill Juice Bottling Plant is engineered to eliminate these risks entirely. By utilizing the universally proven 'Hot Fill' technique, this machinery ensures that the product, the bottle, and the cap are all thermally sterilized during the filling process, extending shelf life without the need for excessive artificial preservatives.
The core principle of this plant is maintaining the liquid at a pasteurization temperature (typically between 85°C and 95°C) right up until the moment it enters the bottle. The specialized stainless steel filling valves are equipped with advanced thermal sensors and a constant recirculation circuit. If the machine halts for any reason and the juice temperature inside the filling tank drops below the critical sterilization threshold, the system automatically recirculates the liquid back to the UHT (Ultra High Temperature) pasteurizer, ensuring that no under-heated product ever enters a bottle.
Standard PET bottles will instantly warp and collapse if filled with 90°C liquid. Therefore, this filling plant is designed to seamlessly integrate with our specialized Heat-Set PET Blow Moulding Machines, which produce bottles capable of withstanding high temperatures. The neck-holding mechanism in the filling Triblock ensures that even if the heat-set bottle slightly softens during filling, it is supported rigidly by the neck ring, preventing any buckling or structural failure.
After the hot liquid fills the bottle and the cap is applied, the inside of the cap and the headspace (the tiny pocket of air at the top) remain potentially unsterilized. Our juice plant features an automated Bottle Inversion Conveyor. Immediately after capping, this mechanism gently flips the bottles upside-down or tilts them at a 90-degree angle for a specific duration (usually 30 to 60 seconds). This allows the 90°C juice to physically contact the inside of the cap, thermally sterilizing the seal and the headspace before the bottle is cooled.
Modern consumer trends lean heavily towards natural juices containing real fruit pulp, aloe vera chunks, or basil seeds. Standard filling valves will quickly clog when handling particulates. Our hot fill plant can be equipped with specialized piston-valve technology or oversized gravity-flow nozzles. These valves are engineered to allow thick pulp and fruit chunks up to 5mm to 8mm in diameter to flow freely into the bottle without crushing the particles or causing blockages.
Once the sterilization process is complete, the hot bottles cannot be packed immediately, as prolonged heat will degrade the flavor, color, and nutritional value of the juice. The bottles exit the filler and proceed directly into a massive, multi-stage Stainless Steel Cooling Tunnel. Using a cascading shower of chilled water, the tunnel gradually brings the bottle temperature down from 90°C to ambient room temperature (around 30-35°C), preventing thermal shock to the plastic and preserving the fresh taste of the juice.
