Complete 2000 Liters Per Hour Reverse Osmosis and purification plant setup. The ultimate turnkey mineral water plant machinery for seamless packaged drinking water production.
Entering the packaged drinking water industry requires a reliable, highly efficient purification system that guarantees the safety and taste of the final product. The 2000 Liters Per Hour (LPH) Turnkey Mineral Water Plant by BMR Machinery is the ideal starting point for regional manufacturers. This system is designed to take raw source water (borewell, municipal, or river) and transform it into crystal-clear, BIS-compliant packaged drinking water. A 2000 LPH capacity is perfectly sized to feed a small-to-medium bottling line, generating substantial daily output while keeping initial capital and operational costs highly manageable.
The purification process begins long before the water reaches the RO membrane. Raw water is first pumped through a Multi-Grade Sand Filter (MGF) to aggressively remove suspended solids, silt, and heavy turbidity. It then passes through an Activated Carbon Filter (ACF), which acts as a chemical sponge. The ACF removes chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, and any foul odors or colors. This crucial pre-filtration stage not only improves the taste but dramatically extends the lifespan of the expensive RO membranes.
The heart of the plant is the high-pressure Reverse Osmosis system. Powered by heavy-duty, stainless steel vertical multi-stage centrifugal pumps, the pre-filtered water is forced through semi-permeable RO membranes (typically from globally trusted brands like Dow Filmtec or Hydranautics). This process removes up to 99% of dissolved solids (TDS), heavy metals like arsenic and fluoride, and microscopic pathogens. The system includes an intelligent blending mechanism, allowing the operator to adjust the final TDS level to achieve the perfect 'sweet' taste associated with premium mineral water.
After RO purification, the water is virtually devoid of minerals. To meet FSSAI standards and improve health benefits, the water passes through an automated mineral dosing station where essential minerals like Magnesium and Potassium are precisely injected back into the stream. Following this, the water flows through a series of absolute Micron Cartridge Filters (typically 1-micron and 0.2-micron). These act as an ultimate physical barrier, ensuring that absolutely no suspended particles or mineral clusters make it into the final product.
Ensuring the water remains sterile during bottling and throughout its shelf life is the most critical step. This plant utilizes a powerful dual-disinfection strategy. First, Ultraviolet (UV) sterilizers mutate the DNA of any remaining biological contaminants, rendering them harmless. Second, a highly concentrated Ozone (O3) generator injects ozone gas into the stainless steel storage tanks. Ozone is one of the most powerful natural oxidants. It not only sterilizes the water but also sanitizes the inner walls of the PET bottle and the cap immediately after filling, ensuring a long, safe shelf life.
Setting up a water plant involves complex plumbing, electrical engineering, and strict regulatory adherence. BMR Machinery provides a true turnkey solution. We supply all components, including SS 316L interconnecting piping, advanced PLC control panels with TDS monitors, and high-grade storage tanks. Our engineering team handles the complete layout and installation, ensuring that the entire setup perfectly aligns with the Bureau of Indian Standards (IS:14543) requirements, fast-tracking your licensing and approval process.
