The alcohol and spirits industry operates on absolute precision, premium aesthetics, and uncompromised structural integrity. The BMR Liquor Bottle Making Machine is engineered specifically to manufacture PET bottles that replicate the premium look, feel, and weight of traditional glass, while offering the incredible durability and lightweight benefits of plastic. From miniature 60ml country liquor bottles to premium 750ml IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) flasks, this machine delivers perfection in every cycle.
Historically, the liquor industry relied heavily on glass. However, glass is heavy, prone to breakage during transit, and expensive to transport. PET has revolutionized this space. But blowing PET for liquor is highly complex—it requires crystal-clear transparency, thick walls to simulate the premium heft of glass, and perfect dimensional accuracy for tamper-evident closures. The BMR Liquor Bottle Making Machine masters all these parameters through advanced servo-mechanics and high-pressure forming.
Why are major distilleries switching to PET? The logistics cost savings are astronomical. A truck carrying empty glass bottles carries mostly air and heavy glass; a truck carrying PET preforms can transport millions of potential bottles in a single load.
However, liquor consumers expect a certain "feel." BMR machines are tuned to process heavy-grammage preforms (e.g., using a 35g preform for a 750ml bottle instead of the 22g used for water). Heating a thick preform without burning the outside while ensuring the inside is soft enough to blow is a thermodynamic challenge. Our Deep-Penetration IR Heating system pulses the infrared waves, allowing heat to soak through the thick PET walls evenly, ensuring crystal clear, haze-free liquor bottles.
Built for rugged, continuous distillery environments, our machine specifications reflect industrial-grade durability and high-end precision.

BMR Machinery integrates specialized features to address the unique challenges of liquor packaging.
The BMR Liquor Bottle Making Machine is the backbone of modern distilleries, supporting:
For a distillery, shifting from buying empty PET bottles to blowing them in-house is a game-changer. Third-party bottle suppliers charge massive premiums for custom shapes and heavy grammage. By installing a BMR machine, you only pay for the raw preform and electricity.
A medium-sized distillery producing 50,000 bottles a day can see ROI in as little as 9 months. Furthermore, the risk of production halting due to delayed bottle delivery is completely eliminated. You control your supply chain, your quality, and your brand's physical appearance.
Distilleries run 24/7 during peak seasons. The BMR machine is built on a heavy-duty, stress-relieved steel chassis to withstand decades of continuous vibration-free operation. We provide a comprehensive spare parts kit with the machine. Our remote diagnostic capability allows our engineers to connect to your machine's PLC via the internet to instantly diagnose and resolve software or sensor issues, ensuring your production never stops.
1. Can this machine produce flask-shaped (flat) liquor bottles? Yes, absolutely. Flask shapes are standard in the liquor industry. Our machine is perfectly capable of blowing flat, oval, and square flask shapes. The heating profile can be adjusted to heat the front and back of the preform more than the sides to ensure even wall thickness on a flat bottle.
2. How do you prevent the heavy base of the liquor bottle from cracking? Premium liquor bottles often have a thick "punt" base. Our molds are designed with specialized base-cooling channels, and we use a slow-stretch blowing technique that gently pushes the thick material to the bottom without stressing the PET molecular chain.
3. Is it possible to run miniature 60ml bottles on this machine? Yes. For miniature bottles, we provide specially designed multi-cavity molds (e.g., 6 or 8 cavities) and specialized small-pitch mandrels to ensure high-speed production of mini liquor bottles.
4. What is the difference between blowing a water bottle and a liquor bottle? Liquor bottles use preforms that are 50% to 100% heavier than water bottles of the same volume. This requires an extended heating oven, higher blowing pressure, and longer cooling times inside the mold to prevent the thick plastic from warping after ejection.
5. Can the machine handle amber or green preforms for rum and whiskey? Yes. Dark colors absorb IR heat much faster than clear PET. Our PLC has specialized "Dark Preform" recipes that lower the lamp intensity and increase the soak time to prevent the outer layer from burning while heating the core.
6. Do you guarantee the visibility of the parting line? While a parting line is physically inevitable in any two-piece mold, our ultra-high pressure toggle clamping system applies immense force, making the seam so microscopic that it is virtually invisible to the consumer, mimicking premium glass.
7. Can we emboss our distillery logo on the bottle? Yes, we CNC machine your custom logo directly into the aluminum mold. Because the machine operates at up to 40 bar blowing pressure, the hot PET perfectly takes the shape of the engraving, resulting in sharp, clear logos.
8. What kind of air compressor setup is required? You will need a robust High-Pressure Air Compressor capable of delivering 40 Bar pressure continuously, along with refrigerated air dryers and high-efficiency oil filters to ensure zero oil vapor enters the bottle.
9. How do we switch from a 180ml Nip to a 750ml Quart? You simply use our Quick Mold Change system to swap the molds, which takes about 45 minutes. Then, on the touchscreen, you select the saved recipe for the 750ml bottle, which automatically adjusts the heating lamps and blowing times.
10. Does BMR provide the preform design as well? Yes, we offer complete turnkey consultancy. We will analyze your desired bottle weight and shape, and design the exact preform specifications you need to order from your supplier to achieve the perfect bottle.
