The agrochemical and pesticide industry demands packaging that is rugged, chemically inert, and absolutely leak-proof. Pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers are highly volatile and toxic substances; a failed bottle can result in catastrophic environmental and safety hazards. The BMR Pesticide Bottle Making Machine is rigorously engineered to produce ultra-durable, thick-walled PET and high-density bottles that meet stringent agricultural packaging regulations.
Unlike standard water bottles, pesticide bottles must endure extreme supply chain abuse—from scorching agricultural fields to rough transit over rural roads. They require high structural rigidity, deep and precise neck threads for child-resistant and tamper-evident caps, and perfectly even wall distribution to prevent chemical leaching or bursting under pressure changes. The BMR machine is built with heavy-duty pneumatics and intense clamping forces to guarantee that every single bottle is a fortress.
Pesticide manufacturers are rapidly transitioning from heavy, expensive tin cans and HDPE to specialized PET formulations. PET offers excellent chemical resistance and transparency (often tinted amber or green) so farmers can see the liquid level.
However, blowing these bottles is demanding. Agrochemical bottles usually feature wide mouths for easy pouring, thick walls, and complex geometric ribs for structural strength. Our machine utilizes a high-intensity Infrared heating oven that can penetrate thick, colored preforms. Furthermore, our ultra-high pressure toggle clamping system ensures the mold parting line is completely fused, eliminating any weak points where hazardous chemicals could potentially leak.
This machine is designed for industrial brutality. The specifications reflect its capability to run heavy-grammage preforms continuously under high pressure.

We have incorporated specific engineering solutions to address the extreme safety requirements of the pesticide packaging sector.
The BMR Pesticide Bottle Making Machine is trusted by major agrochemical conglomerates for a wide variety of products:
For a pesticide manufacturer, packaging failure is not just a loss of product; it is a massive legal and environmental liability. Relying on third-party bottle suppliers who cut corners on wall thickness or use inferior machinery is a massive risk.
By bringing your bottle blowing in-house with a BMR machine, you take absolute control over your packaging quality. You dictate the preform weight, you monitor the wall distribution, and you ensure every thread is perfect. Beyond safety, the cost savings are immense. Eliminating the transport of bulky, empty bottles to your remote agrochemical plant will typically pay for the entire machine within 12 to 14 months.
Operating a machine for heavy-grammage bottles requires skill. BMR Machinery provides intensive on-site training for your operators, focusing heavily on tuning the heating profiles for dark and opaque preforms. Our machines are built with highly accessible pneumatics and electronics for easy maintenance. Should any issue arise, our pan-India service network and remote PLC diagnostic capabilities ensure your plant keeps running during critical agricultural seasons.
1. Can this machine blow 100% opaque white bottles for agricultural chemicals? Yes. Opaque white preforms are the hardest to heat because the white pigment reflects Infrared light. Our machine is equipped with specialized high-intensity IR lamps and we program a specific "slow-soak" recipe in the PLC to heat the core of the white preform without burning the outside.
2. Are the bottles strong enough to withstand rough transport on rural roads? Absolutely. The strength comes from using the correct heavy-grammage preform and our high-pressure (40-bar) blowing system, which perfectly forms the structural ribs designed into the mold. This gives the bottle extreme rigidity and crush resistance.
3. How do you ensure the child-resistant caps fit perfectly without leaking? Child-resistant caps require deep, precise neck threads. Our machine uses an active chilled-water circulation system specifically dedicated to the neck-holding mandrels in the oven. This ensures the threaded neck remains completely cold and rigid while the body is heated, guaranteeing zero deformation.
4. Can the machine produce 5-Liter bulk pesticide containers? Yes, our wide-mouth, high-tonnage models are specifically designed to blow containers up to 5 Liters. These machines feature larger ovens to accommodate the massive preforms and higher clamping force to hold the large molds closed during blowing.
5. What happens if a preform bursts inside the mold due to its thickness? While very rare with proper heating, if a burst occurs, the machine's PLC instantly detects the sudden pressure drop. It halts the blowing cycle immediately, exhausts the air safely, and triggers an alarm, protecting the mold and the operator.
6. Do we need a special air compressor for these heavy bottles? Yes. Heavy, ribbed pesticide bottles require a High-Pressure Air Compressor capable of delivering 35 to 40 Bar pressure. Standard 10-bar factory air is not sufficient to push thick PET into sharp mold corners.
7. Can we blow bottles with an integrated handle on this machine? Yes. For larger 2L to 5L containers, we can design molds and equip the machine with an auto-handle insertion system. The preform is blown around a pre-inserted plastic handle, locking it permanently into the bottle structure.
8. Is the machine resistant to chemical fumes in our plant? The machine is built with heavy powder-coated steel and stainless steel components. However, for maximum longevity, we recommend installing the blow moulding machine in a clean, separate room adjacent to your chemical filling line, connected via an air conveyor.
9. How fast can we change production from a 250ml bottle to a 1L bottle? Using our Quick Mold Change (QMC) system, two trained operators can swap the molds, adjust the stretch rods, and load the new heating recipe from the touchscreen in approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
10. Do you supply the leak-testing equipment as well? Yes, as part of a turnkey packaging line, we highly recommend and can supply an inline automated leak tester. It pressurizes every ejected bottle and instantly rejects any bottle with micro-pinholes before it reaches your chemical filling machine.
